(BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL (BIRMINGHAM, A4540 TO CITY BOUNDARY) (ONE WAY TRAFFIC) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2019) (THE AVENUE, ACOCKS GREEN) (ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Council have made these Orders under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53,101 and 102 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be as follows:

1. To introduce lengths of No Waiting at Any Time on STUDLAND ROAD, SCHOOL ROAD, MARIE DRIVE, SHIRLEY ROAD, DAGNALL ROAD, THE AVENUE, CULHAM CLOSE, WARWICK ROAD, DOUGLAS ROAD & DALSTON ROAD, ACOCKS GREEN.

2. To introduce a length of One-Way Traffic on THE AVENUE, ACOCKS GREEN from a point outside property No 147 running towards property No 230.

These Orders will come into operation on 24th January 2025.

A copy of these Orders together with the plans and a statement of the Council’s reasons will be made available on request.

If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or of any of the provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to these Orders may within 6 weeks from 23rd January 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
