Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(B4082 Upton Snodsbury Road, Pinvin) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4082 Upton Snodsbury Road from its junction with C2270 Long Lane to its junction with Harris Bank (NSG ref.45406134).

Reason: Replacement electricity cable by Western Power Distribution.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4082 Seaford, B4082 Naunton Road, B4082 Pershore Road, A422 Worcester Road, A422 Alcester Road, A44 Evesham Road, A44 Worcester Road, B4082 Main Street, B4082 Upton Snodsbuy Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 9 days. Commencing:15 February 2025.

(C2022 Main Street, Cropthorne (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2022 Main Street from its junction with U44209 Middle Lane to its junction with Brook View (NSG Ref 45406100).

Reason: Communication pipe repair by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2022 Brook Lane, B4084 Main Road, U44206 Boston Lane, U44206 Canada Bank, U44206 The Strand, C2022 Church Leys, C2022 Main Street (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 19 February 2025.

(U44206 Canada Bank, Charlton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U44206 Canada Bank from its junction with U44204 Top Street to its junction with B4084 Pershore Road.

Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U44206 Canada Bank (part), U44206 The Strand, C2022 Church Leys, C2022 Main Street, C2022 Brook Lane, B4084 Main Road, B4084 Pershore Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 27 January 2025.

(U45209 Grange Road, Bretforton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U45209 Grange Road from its junction with U45210 Ivy Lane to its junction with U45208 Clayfield Road.

Reason: Installation of dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U45210 Ivy Lane, C2047 Station Road, U45208 Clayfield Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:3 days. Commencing: 27 January 2025.

(U44527 Northwick Road, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of Northwick Road from its junction with U44524 Burford Road for a distance of 45 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Electricity cable replacement by Western Power Distribution.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U44524 Burford Road, U44528 Lime Street, U44527 Northwick Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 6 days (24hrs). Commencing: 17 February 2025.

(Link Footpath F40584 Cherry Close (between No 11/16) Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F40584 Cherry Close (between No 11/16) from its junction with U44633 Cherry Close for a distance of 22 metres in a north westerly direction.

Reason: Footpath Reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U44633 Cherry Close, U44630 Hawthorn Road, U44632 Almond Close, Link Footpath F40518 Rowan Close (between No 12/14), unnamed Footpath and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 27 January 2025.

(C2114 Pebworth Road, Pebworth) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2114 Pebworth Road from its junction with C2114 Dorsington Road to its junction with C2006 Buckle Street.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2114 Pebworth Road (part), C2006 Buckle Street, C2006 Station Road, C2049 Stratford Road, C2114 Chapel Road, C2114 Front Street, C2114 Pebworth Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 17 February 2025.

(Link Footpath F40542 Woodlands (fronting No. 2-24), Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F40542 Woodlands (fronting No. 2-24) from its junction with Link Footpath F40542 Dawes Road (side 22 Woodlands) for a distance of 24 meters in a north easterly direction.

Reason: New ducting in footpath by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U44666 Woodlands, Link Footpath F40542 Woodlands (fronting No. 2-24) (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 29 January 2025.

(U45017 School Street, Honeybourne) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U45017 School Street from its junction with Corner Farm Drive (NSG Ref. 45400383) to its junction with Reades Piece (NSG Ref. 45401110).

Reason: New customer connection by Wales & West Utilities Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U45017 School Street (part), C2049 High Street, U45017 School Street (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days (24hrs). Commencing: 17 February 2025.

(C2007 Pershore Road, Little Comberton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2007 Pershore Road from its junction with U46612 Manor Lane to its junction with C2124 Great Comberton to Little Comberton.

Reason: Remedial works by Kier Utilities.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2124 Wick Road, B4084 Evesham Road, B4084 Avon Bank, C2007 Pensham Hill, C2007 Main Road, C2007 Pershore Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 17 February 2025.

(C2011 Atch Lench Road, Church Lench) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2011 Atch Lench Road from its junction with U43608 Malthouse Lane to its junction with U43609 Farm Lane.

Reason: New customer connection by Wales & West Utilities Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2011 Atch Lench Road (part), C2011 Atch Lench Road to Leys Road, C2117 Handgate Lane, U43606 Evesham Road, C2263 Main Street, C2011 Atch Lench Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 7 days (24hrs). Commencing: 18 February 2025.

(C2008 Pershore Road, Great Comberton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2008 Pershore Road from its junction with C2124 Great Comberton to Little Comberton for a distance of 70 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Pipe repair by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2124 Great Comberton to Little Comberton, C2007 Main Road, C2008 Pershore Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 17 February 2025.

(U44522 Castle Street, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Worcester (Castle Street, Evesham) (One-Way) Order 1966 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U44522 Castle Street from its junction with B4035 Port Street to its junction with U44523 Lower Leys and to temporarily suspend The County of Worcester (Castle Street, Evesham) (One-Way) Order 1966 to allow access to residents and businesses for the duration of the Order. Reason: Safe working to allow engineers to access underground structure by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4035 Port Street, U44524 Burford Road, U44523 Lower Leys.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 27 January 2025.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Bridleways RL-515, RL-516, RL-519, RL-520 and RL-521, Worcestershire) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close Bridleways RL-515, RL-516, RL-519, RL-520 and RL-521, Worcestershire for their entire length.

The Order has been made due to a collapsed culvert on Bridleway RL-515.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: For horse riders is C2011 Radford Road, C2010 Alcester Road and vice versa. For pedestrians is C2010 Alcester Road, Footpaths RL-517, 518, 522 and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months continuing on from 2 January 2025.

(A44 Evesham Road, Fladbury) (Temporary 30 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2025

Order made: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of A44 Evesham Road from its junction with C2012 Throckmorton Road for a distance of 100 metres in an easterly direction until A44 Evesham Road roundabout.

Reason: Replacement water main by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 29 days (24hrs). Commencing: 27 January 2025.

(District of Wychavon - Pershore Area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2025 [Disabled Persons' Parking Space on Head Street, Pershore]

On 9 January 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled person parking space on the following side and length of road in Pershore: -

Head Street (West side): - from a point 10 metres northeast of St. Agathas Court in a north easterly direction for a distance of 6.6 metres.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 30 January 2025.
