What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

VARIOUS ROADS, BURTON ON THE WOLDS & PRESTWOLD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. 

The Order will come into force on 01/02/2025 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 week. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway patching & any other various highway maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

Loughborough Rd between the Jct. of Springfield Cl & the Jct. of Prestwold Ln. Nottingham Rd between the Jct. of Loughborough Rd & the Jct. of Barrow Rd. Prestwold Ln between the Jct. of Loughborough Rd, Prestwold & the Jct. of Loughborough Rd, Burton on the Wolds.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH PEDESTRIANS ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. 

The Order will come into force on 01/02/2025 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 weeks. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow National Grid to undertake cable connection works & Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway maintenance works The proposed diversion route will be via: Nanpantan Rd, Snells Nook Ln, Longcliffe Gdns & vice versa.
