(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, PROHIBITION OF LEFT TURN & ONE WAY) (VARIOUS ROADS, WALSALL) ORDER NO. 1 FEBRUARY 2025

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from proceeding in that length of carriageway specified in Schedule 1 OTHER THAN in the direction specified in Schedule 2.
SCHEDULE 1
THE CRESCENT, WALSALL that is situated from
opposite its junction with Boscobel Road to its
junction with A4148 Broadway North.
(10 February 2025 to 28 February 2025)
Reason for Order: Gas main replacement.
Works on behalf of: Cadent Gas.

SCHEDULE 2 Westerly

B4464 SOMERFORD PLACE, WILLENHALL that is
situated from its junction with B4484 Pinson Road to
its junction with A454 The Keyway.
(2 February 2025 to 29 August 2025)
Reason for Order: Construction of cycle track.
Works on behalf of: Wolverhampton City Council.

SCHEDULE 2 Westerly

VICARAGE PLACE, WALSALL that is situated from
its junction with Vicarage Walk to its junction with
Wednesbury Road.
(16 February 2025 and 23 February 2025)
Reason for Order: Tree cutting.
Works on behalf of: Sunbelt Rentals.

SCHEDULE 2 Easterly

And, prevent any vehicle proceeding along A4038 DARLASTON ROAD, WALSALL from making a left turn into A4148 OLD PLECK ROAD. (Friday 07 February 2025 to Monday 10 February 2025 between the hours of 21:00 to 06:00 only).
Reason for Order: Installation of new ducting.
Works on behalf of: Openreach.

And, prevent any vehicle from proceeding in that length of:
* STUBBERS GREEN ROAD, ALDRIDGE that is situated from its junction with Barns Lane for a distance of 100 metres in a south easterly direction. (09:30- 15:30) (Monday 3 February 2025).

Reason for Order: To repair a defective frame and cover.
Works on behalf of: Severn Trent Water.

* GREAT CHARLES STREET, BROWNHILLS that is situated from its junction with School Avenue to its junction with Poplar Road. (09:30-14:30) (Tuesday 4 February 2025).

Reason for Order: To repair a defective frame and cover.
Works on behalf of: Severn Trent Water.

*LINDON DRIVE, BROWNHILLS that is situated from its junction with A452 High Street for a distance of 210 metres in a westerly direction. (24 February 2025 to 21 March 2025).

Reason for Order: Gas main replacement.
Works on behalf of: Cadent Gas.

* PARK ROAD, BLOXWICH that is situated from outside property number 83 to the end of the road. ( Monday 03 February 2025 to Tuesday 11 February 2025).

Reason for Order: Repairs to damaged pipework.
Works on Behalf of: Severn Trent.

This ORDER will come into operation on Sunday 2 February 2025. It is anticipated that the works will be completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signed diversion routes (viewable on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
