Cambois First School Access Road and C403 South View to Unity Terrace - Introducing New Parking Restrictions
What is happening?

Notice is hereby given that Northumberland County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred under sections 1 to 4, 32, 35, 45 and 46, 61 and 64 (as appropriate) and Part IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other powers so enabling, intends to make the above-named Order.
The effect of the Order, if made, will be to vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by introducing the following new parking restrictions in Cambois:
1) There will be no waiting at any time on the Cambois First School Access Road and C403 South View to Unity Terrace.
2) There will be an extension to the current prohibition of stopping on school entrance markings applying Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm on the Cambois First School Access Road.
The restrictions can also be viewed in map format, as the maps form part of the map-based schedule to the Order. A copy of the draft Order, together with the maps that form part of the Schedule to the Order and any other relevant documents, notices or Orders as appropriate as well as a Statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order are available to view or download on the NCC Website:
