What is happening?

KIRKLEES COUNCIL - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

(CLOUGH LANE, LOWER HOPTON, MIRFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Clough Lane, Lower Hopton from its junction with Falhouse Lane to a point approximately 500 metres  South West

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Whitley Road, Edge Top Road,

Overthorpe Road, The Common, The Combs, Hall Lane, Church Lane,

Valley Road, Hostingley Lane, New Road, Nell Gap Lane, Wakefield

Road, Liley Lane, Tanhouse Lane, Clough Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 11 February 2025 and remain in force until 14 February 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(CHIDSWELL LANE, SHAW CROSS, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
(NO 2) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Chidswell Lane, Shaw Cross, from a point at the side of property no. 37 to a point outside The Old Huntsman Public House

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Chidswell Lane, Windsor Road, Owl Lane, Leeds Road, Pickering Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 10 February 2025 08:00 hours and remain in force until 21 February 2025 18:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(OLD LANE, BIRKENSHAW, BRADFORD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Old Lane, Birkenshaw from its junction with Town Street, to a point outside property no. 11 Old Lane

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Old Lane, Whitehall Road East, Bradford Road, Town Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 10 February 2025 08:00 hours and remain in force until 7 March 2025 17:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BRIESTFIELD ROAD, BRIESTFIELD, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Briestfield Road, Briestfield from a point approximately 380 metres from its junction with Pearson Lane for approximately 30 metres eastbound along Briestfield Road


PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Briestfield Road, Back Lane, Pearson’s Lane, Briestfield Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 27 January 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day only between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BURGH MILL LANE, DEWSBURY MOOR, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
 that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Burgh Mill Lane, Dewsbury Moor from its junction with Heckmondwike Road to its junction with Crow Nest View

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Heckmondwike Road, Low Road, Ravenshouse Road, Burgh Mill Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 27 January 2025 and remain in force until 28 January 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(TIMOTHY LANE, UPPER BATLEY, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Timothy Lane, Upper Batley from tis junction with Blenheim Hill to a point outside property no. 39 Timothy Lane

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Timothy Lane, Bruntcliffe Road, Leeds Road, Huddersfield Road,

Bradford Road, Batley Field Hill, Timothy Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 28 January 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day only between the hours of 19:00 and 23:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(CHEVIOT WAY, UPPER HOPTON, MIRFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Cheviot Way, Upper Hopton from a point outside property no. 27 Cheviot Way to a point outside property no. 31 Cheviot Way

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. No diversion required - road is a dead end.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 30 January 2025 and will remain in force until 6 February 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WHARF STREET, SAVILE TOWN, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wharf Street, Savile Town from its junction with Warren Street to a point outside the rear of UK Greeting, Wharf Street

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Wharf Street, Cross Street, Orchard Street, Warren Street and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 30 January 2025 and will remain in force until 31 January 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(TEMPLE ROAD, WESTTOWN, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Temple Road, Westtown from a point outside property no. 2 Temple Road to the side of 200 Huddersfield Road

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Temple Road, Heckmondwike Road, Walkley Lane, Market Street, High Street, Halifax Road, Dewsbury Ring Road, Webster Hill, Huddersfield Road - anticlockwise only.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday 25 January 2025 and remain in force until 26 January 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
