What is happening?

The Renfrewshire Council has made the undernoted Order in terms of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The Renfrewshire Council (Use of off-road parking places)

(Various locations, Renfrewshire) (Amendment) Order 2025

The Order, which comes into operation on the 27th January 2025 was advertised in The Gazette Covering Johnstone & Renfrewshire on 16th October 2024 and the effect of the Orders is as stated in the said notice. Copies of the Orders and maps relative thereto are available for inspection on the "Tell me Scotland" website for 6 weeks. Ref TRO 462.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the 17th January 2025, apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
