(MONCKTON ROAD, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER (NO 28) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to allow replacement of manhole cover and frame, to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Monckton Road, Wakefield for 100 meters, outside unit 11 on the junction with the service road. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Monckton Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 12th February 2025 at 20:30 hours until 13th February 2025 at 00:30 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(HAW PARK LANE, WALTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER (NO 29) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to allow bridge inspection on behalf of Network Rail to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Haw Park Lane, Walton, traveling east on Haw Park Lane, starting approximately 267 meters after Chevet Lane junction. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Haw Park Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Chevet Lane, Notton Lane, Cold Hiendley Common Lane, Cold Hiendley and vice versa
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 12th February 2025 at 23:00 hours until 14th February 2025 at 06:00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(CROSS ROAD, MIDDLESTOWN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 30) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to allow installation of new surface water sewer and gully connections to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Cross Road, Middlestown from its junction with Thornhill Road and New Road to its junction with Butts Lane. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Cross Road. ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Cross Road, Old Road, Green Lane and New Road and vice versa
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 10th February 2025 at 08:00 hours until 28th February 2025 at 18:00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(INGWELL STREET, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 25) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to enable building works to create new housing development to take place to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Ingwell Street, Wakefield after the footpath to the side of dwellings 27 to 37. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Ingwell Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: No diversion, dead end.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 10th February 2025 to 9th August 2026 or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(FOOTPATH FROM KIRKGATE TO
BRUNSWICK STREET, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER (NO 26) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield by reason of works to allow for building site to be carried out on or near the footpath from Kirkgate to Brunswick Street, Wakefield near to the West Yorkshire Records Office, and the likelihood of danger arising to the public, intend not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of public footpath.
Alternative route for pedestrians: Signed diversion via Kirkgate, Brunswick Street & vice versa. The order comes into operation on 10th February 2025 to 9th August 2025.
