Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Banbury, Bretch Hill

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 20 January 2025

Coming into force: 27 January 2025

This Order is being introduced because of water mains and storm drain works which are anticipated to be completed 9 February 2025. This will operate between. 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday and weekends 09:00 to 13:00hrs.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in sections of Bretch Hill near the junction with Lennox Gardens.

Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Bretch Hill, Mascord Road, Woodgreen Avenue or Edmunds Road, Woodgreen Avenue.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T14939/AC)
