What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Vellow Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Vellow Road - from the junction with The Knoll to the junction with High Street. A total distance of 509 metres. This Order will enable 1Servco to overlay from pole to chamber on behalf of Airband. The Order becomes effective on 7th February 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 11th February 2025 and last until 11th February 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00 for a total of 10 hours.
