Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(U23205 Stonehouse Lane, Hopwood) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U23205 Stonehouse Lane from its junction with U23210 Ash Lane to its junction with U23204 Watery Lane.
Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route:
- Diversion Westbound – U23205 Stonehouse Lane (part), U23210 Ash Lane, A441 Redditch Road Southbound, A441 Hopwood roundabout, A441 Redditch Road Northbound, Into Birmingham, C2042 Redhill Road, C2042 Clewshaw Lane, C2036 Icknield Street, U23204 Watery Lane, U23205 Stonehouse Lane (part).
- Diversion Eastbound – U23205 Stonehouse Lane (part), U23204 Watery Lane, C2036 Icknield Street, C2042 Clewshaw Lane, C2042 Redhill Road, Into Birmingham, A441 Redditch Road, U23210 Ash Lane, U23205 Stonehouse Lane (part).

(U23239 Bear Hill, Alvechurch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U23239 Bear Hill from its junction with U23241 Robins Hill Drive to its junction with U23238 Latimer Road.
Reason: Pipe Repair by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U23239 Bear Hill (part), U23238 Latimer Road, U23227 Snake Lane, C2001 Bear Hill and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 3 days.
Commencing: 17 February 2025.
(C2170 Icknield Street, Headley Heath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2170 Icknield Street from its junction with U23404 Primrose Hill for a distance of 70 metres in a south-easterly direction.
Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U23404 Primrose Hill, into Birmingham, C2042 Redhill Road, C2170 Icknield Street (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 3 days.
Commencing: 17 February 2025.
(U30032 Castle Street, Astwood Bank) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U30032 Castle Street from its junction with C2038 Church Road to its junction with C2038 Feckenham Road.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2038 Church Road, C2038 Feckenham Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 5 days.
Commencing: 17 February 2025.
(U31038 Edward Street, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) and The Urban District of Redditch (Edward Street/Britten Street) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1973 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U31038 Edward Street from its junction with U31000 Bromsgrove Road for a distance of 50 metres in a northerly direction and to temporarily suspend The Urban District of Redditch (Edward Street/Britten Street) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1973 to allow access to residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.
Reason: Manhole cover replacement by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U31000 Bromsgrove Road, U31019 Willow Way, U31021 Batchely Road, B4184 Hewell Road, U31028 Hewell Road, U31031 Cedar Road, U31035 Elm Road.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 1 night (20:00–06:00).
Commencing: 23 January 2025.
(U31107 Vicarage Crescent, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U31107 Vicarage Crescent from its junction with U31000 Bromsgrove Road to its junction with U31108 Vicarage View.
Reason: Dropped kerb installation for new vehicle crossing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U31000 Bromsgrove Road, U31110 Plymouth Road, U31109 Cemetery Lane, U31108 Vicarage View and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 3 days.
Commencing: 29 January 2025.
(C2001 Stoney Lane, Alvechurch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of C2001 Stoney Lane from its junction with B4096 Hewell Lane for a distance of 50 metres in an easterly direction.
Reason: Safe working only by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2001 Stoney Lane (part), C2034 Grange Lane, C2291 Redditch Road, A441 Birmingham Road, A441 Alvechurch Highway, B4184 Middlehouse Lane, B4184 Windsor Road, B4184 Hewell Road, B4184 Brockhill Drive, B4096 Hewell Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 1 day.
Commencing: 29 January 2025.
(C2161 Callow Hill Road, Alvechurch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of C2161 Callow Hill Road from its junction with U23247 Crown Meadow to its junction with C2161 Sandhills Green.
Reason: Rail replacement and vegetation clearance by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2173 Coopers Hill, C2173 Wheeley Road, C2173 Blackwell Road, B4096 Alcester Road, B4096 Hewell Lane, C2001 Stoney Lane, C2001 Cobley Hill, C2001 Scarfield Hill, C2001 Bear Hill, C2291 Red Lion Street, C2161 Callow Hill Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 5 days.
Commencing: 27 January 2025.
(U23202 Chapel Lane, Alvechurch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U23202 Chapel Lane from its junction with C2034 Rowney Green Lane for a distance of 172 metres in an easterly direction.
Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U23202 Chapel Lane (part), U23202 Gravel Pit Lane, C2034 Rowney Green Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 2 days (24hrs) between 29 January and 31 January 2025.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(Astwood Lane, Feckenham) (30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2025
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to extend the speed limit on the following length of road in Feckenham to 30 miles per hour:
Astwood Lane: From the existing 30 mph limit from its junction with Yeates Acre for a distance of 84m in an easterly direction.
- Current Limit: National speed limit
- Proposed Limit: 30 mph
There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.
