The North Yorkshire Council, Bus Lane & Cycle Lane, Station Parade, Harrogate, Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that on the 10/01/25 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1) & 2(1) to (3), 4 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Transport Act 2000, the Traffic Management Act 2004 & of all other enabling powers, the effect of which is to create a bus & pedal cycle lane with flow as set out in Schedule 1 below:- Schedule 1 - Bus & Pedal Cycle Lane With Flow Part of road authorised for use as bus lane - Station Parade, Harrogate: The east side from a point 46 metres south east of its junction with Bower Road to a point 82 metres south east of its junction with its junction with Bower Road. Permitted Direction – Southbound. Hours of Operation - 24 hours Operation.
Harrogate, Burn Bridge, Pannal & Knaresborough, One Way Traffic, Station Parade, Harrogate, Order 2025 Notice is hereby given that on the 10/01/25 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1) & 2(1) to (2) & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along any length of road specified in column 2 of Schedule 1 below, in a direction other than that specified in relation to that length of road in column 3 of that Schedule:- Schedule 1 – One Way Traffic Restriction - Station Parade. Harrogate Station Parade, Harrogate: From its junction with Bower Road to its junction with Cheltenham Parade. Permitted direction – Southbound.
Prescribed Routes, Station Bridge, Harrogate, Order 2025 Notice is hereby given that on the 10/01/25 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1) & 2(1) to (2) & Part IV of
Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers, the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along any length of road specified in column 2 of the following Schedule 1 in a direction other than that specified in relation to that length of road in column 3 of that Schedule 1:- Schedule 1 - Prescribed Route Station Bridge, Harrogate, in a southwest bound direction at its junction of Station Parade, Harrogate. Direction in which traffic must flow from junction - Left turn into Station Parade, Harrogate.
Prohibited Turning Movements, Various Roads, Harrogate, Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that on 10/01/25 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1), 2(2) & 3(2) & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle to turn left as specified in Schedule 1 below & to turn right as specified in Schedule 2 below:- Schedule 1 - Prohibited Left Turn Commercial Street, Harrogate, Station Parade, Harrogate, Cheltenham Parade, Harrogate, Station Parade, Harrogate Schedule 2 – Prohibited Right Turn Private Road to Rear of Bus Station, Harrogate, Station Parade, Harrogate, Station Parade, Harrogate, Cheltenham Parade, Harrogate. Copies of the Orders, which come into operation on 24/01/25, together with a map showing the road affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Harrogate Library, Victoria Avenue, Harrogate HG1 1EG during normal office hours from 23/01/25 until 21/02/25 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or

If you wish to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 10/01/25 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
