What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Annet Road, Head of Muir from 07.30hrs on 23/01/25 until 17:00hrs on 25/01/25. The prohibition is to allow carriageway surfacing works to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes: Annet Road, from the junction of Haypark Road to the end of the street.
2. The alternative route is: Not applicable, local access to be maintained.

Blaefaulds Crescent, Denny from 07.30hrs on 27/01/25 until 17:00hrs on 04/02/25. The prohibition is to allow carriageway surfacing works to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes: Blaefaulds Crescent in its entirety.
2. The alternative route is: Not applicable, local access to be maintained.

Etna Road, Falkirk from 07:30 hours on 27/01/25 until 17:00 hours on 04/02/25 to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.

1. This Order temporarily closes Etna Road Falkirk from its junction with Thornhill Road to its junction with Kennard Street
2. The alternative route is Thornhill Road, A904 Grangemouth Road, Middlefield Road, Etna Road and vice versa.

Vicar Street, Falkirk from 18:00 on 28/01/25 until 06:00 on 29/01/25. The prohibition is to allow for a cherry picker to be installed.

1. This order temporarily closes Vicar Street, Falkirk from its junction with Upper Newmarket Street to its junction with Bank Street.
2. The alternative route is Vicar Street, Park Street, Princes Street and Bank Street.
