What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(ON STREET PARKING PLACES)
(CIVIL ENFORCEMENT) (CONSOLIDATION)
(AMENDMENT NO 70) (VARIOUS STREETS,
BRIDLINGTON, BOYNTON AND
WOLD NEWTON) ORDER 2025

1. East Riding of Yorkshire Council proposes to make a
Road Traffic Regulation Order to amend The
East Riding of Yorkshire Council (On Street Parking
Places) (Civil Enforcement) (Consolidation)
Order 2021 the effect of which will be:
(a) To introduce mandatory School Keep Clear
markings (No Stopping Monday to Friday between
8.15am and 9.15am and between 2.45pm and 3.45pm)
on the B1253, Boynton.
(b) To replace the existing advisory School Keep
Clear markings with mandatory School Keep Clear
restrictions (No Stopping Monday to Friday between
8.15am and 9.15am and between 2.30pm and 3.30pm)
on Burstall Hill, Bridlington
(c) To replace the existing informal school bus stop
with a Bus Stand (No Stopping Monday to Friday
between 8.00am and 9.00am and between
2.15pm and 3.15pm on Bessingby Road, Bridlington.
(d) To introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions
on Bessingby Road, Bridlington.
(e) To introduce mandatory School Keep Clear
markings (No Stopping Monday to Friday between
8.15am and 9.15am and between 3.00pm and 4.00pm)
on Back Street, Wold Newton.
(f) To introduce No Waiting restrictions (Monday to
Friday between 8.15am and 9.15am and between
3.00pm and 4.00pm) on Back Street, Wold Newton.
The proposed changes are shown on Plan Tile
References AF147, AF154A, AJ154A, AJ155B and
R123 which are attached to the proposed Order.
Annotated illustrative drawings are also available
for inspection with references TP100/1200/30A,
TP100/1200/31B, TP100/1200/32A and
TP100/1200/33B which show for ease of reference
the proposed amendments. If the Order becomes
operative Plan Tile Reference AF147, AF154A, AJ154A,
AJ155B and R123 will be incorporated into The
East Riding of Yorkshire Council (On Street Parking
Places) (Civil Enforcement) (Consolidation) Order
2021.
2. A copy of the draft Order, annotated illustrative
drawings and a statement of the council’s reasons
for proposing to make the Order are available for
inspection at Bridlington Customer Service Centre,
Town Hall, Quay Road, Bridlington, YO16 4LP.
A copy of the street notice and annotated illustrative
drawings have been placed on the council’s website
(East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Traffic Management
and Road Safety). Any enquiries relating to this

3. Objections to the proposed Order, stating the
grounds for objection, should be emailed to

County Hall, Beverley by 13 February 2025.
