What is happening?
North Yorkshire Council, Various Roads, Borough of Harrogate, Disabled Person’s Parking Bays, No 14, Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that on 17/01/25 made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act &under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to revoke those Orders as set out in Schedule 2 below by introducing the restrictions specified in Schedule 1 below:- Schedule 1 - Waiting Prohibited At Any Time Except For Disabled Badge Holders Avenue Street (U36), Harrogate, South east side from a point 11 metres north east of its junction with Avenue Road to a point 17.6 metres north east of its junction with Avenue Road. Kingsley Drive, Harrogate, South east side from its intersection point with the projected boundary line of Nos. 31/ 32 Kingsley Drive for a distance of 6.6 metres in a south westerly direction. Schedule 2 – Revocations North Yorkshire Council (Various Roads, Borough of Harrogate) (Disabled Person’s Parking Bays) No.12 Order 2024 - In so far as it relates to item 4, Schedule 1 (No waiting except Disabled Badge Holders – Dene Park) A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 2 7/01/25 together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Harrogate Library, Victoria Avenue, Harrogate, HG1 1EG during normal office hours from 23/01/25 to 28/02/25 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 17/01/25 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
