Golgotha Rd - Temporary Suspension Of One-Way Traffic
What is happening?

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LIMITED WAITITNG) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITITNG) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.
1. The existing prohibition of one-way traffic on Golgotha Road, Lancaster for its entire length from West to East will be temporarily suspended.
2. Nothing in this order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3. The prohibition will be operative from 0800 hours on Monday 20th January 2025 until 1700 hours on Sunday 6th July 2025 or until completion of the works within this period.
AND FURTHER, during the period of the temporary suspension the existing limited waiting restriction on Golgotha Road, Lancaster from a point 15.4 metres north-west of its junction with Coulston Road for a distance of 18 metres in a north-westerly direction will be temporarily suspended.
AND FURTHER, during the period of the temporary suspension vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from waiting on that section of Golgotha Road, Lancaster from a point 15.4 metres north-west of its junction with Coulston Road for a distance of 18 metres in a north-westerly direction.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow site traffic to enter and exit Golgotha Road, Lancaster at the junction with Coulston Road, Lancaster.
