Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 23 January 2025:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 1:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS IN WAVENDON, WILLEN, OLNEY, EMBERTON AND BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2071)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of roads to allow Anglian Water to carryout maintenance and new connection works.
Cross End, Wavendon – Outside Number 2 Cross End. 25th February 2025 – 27th February 2025 (8:00am – 6:00pm)
Whist the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Newport Road, Lower End Road (and vice versa).
Granville Square, Willen – North Bound Carriageway Leading to Dansteed Way. 17th February 2025 – 19th February 2025 (8:00am – 6:00pm)
Whist the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Portland Drive, Hooper Gate, Dansteed Way (and vice versa).
Near Town Olney – Outside Number 4. 4th February 2025 and 6th February 2025 (24 hours)
Whist the above closure is in effect, the alternative route will be via Timpsons Row, Palmers Road (and vice versa).
West Lane, Emberton – Junction of the Paddock. 11th February 2025 and 13th February 2025 (24 hours)
Whist the above closure is in effect Access to properties will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Whaddon Way Bletchley – From its junction with Derwent Drive top its junction with Warwick Road. 17th February 2025 and 19th February 2025 (24 hours)
Whist the above closure is in effect the alternative route will be via Shenley Road, Buckingham Road (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE 2:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BRICKHILL STREET (PART), BOW BRICKHILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2109)
the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following part of road to allow Network Rail to undertake their annual inspections and re-rail:
Brickhill Street, Milton Keynes – from its junction with Tilbrook Roundabout to its junction with Station Road.
The above closure will come into effect on 1st February 2025 and is scheduled to be reopened on 3rd February 2025 (overnight 21:00 – 06:00).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via A5 and Bletcham Way (and vice versa)
PUBLIC NOTICE 3:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CHURCH ROAD AND BYWAY 23, BOW BRICKHILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2086)
the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following part of road to allow CityFibre to carry out Fibre To The Home works:
4th – 17th February 2025 (24 hours)
Church Road, Bow Brickhill – from its junction with Drakewell Lane for a distance of 500 metres in a south easterly direction.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Longslade Lane, Woburn Road, Hardwick Road, The Leys, Bow Brickhill Road and Woburn Sands Road (and vice versa)
Byway 23, Bow Brickhill – from its junction with Church Road for a distance of 150 metres in a westerly direction.
Whilst the above length of byway is closed there will be no alternative route.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 21 January 2025, made the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 4:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH 002, MOULSOE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2111)
In the interest of safety to the public whilst development works are being carried out. from 27th January 2025 – 11th July 2025 (24 Hours).
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close part of:
Footpath 002, Moulsoe – from its junction with A509 London Road to its junction with Newport Road.
Whilst the above length of Footpath is closed there will be no alternative route.
