What is happening?
CITY OF DONCASTER COUNCIL
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although
all closures to be completed by the 28th February 2025.
Diversion Routes
1) Greaves Sike Lane, Micklebring Lane, High Street, Maltby
Lane, Braithwell Road, Bridge Lane, Rotherham Road, Bawtry
Road, Bawtry Road Roundabout, Clifford Road, Denby Way,
Hellaby Lane, Moor Lane and vice versa.
2) Marsh Hill, Moor Lane, Greaves Sike Lane.

(AMENDMENT NO. 88) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that on the 22nd day of January 2025
the City of Doncaster Council made an Order under the
provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The effect of the Order that will come into operation on the
10th day of February 2025 will be to introduce a No waiting
Monday to Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm restriction on the
following lengths of road:-
a) Barnsley Road, Scawsby
South West Side
iii) From the western kerbline of the western leg of the
unnamed road forming a lay-by outside Scawsby Ridgewood
Comprehensive School for a distance of 15 metres in a
westerly direction.
Iv) From a point 15 metres east of the eastern kerbline of the
unnamed access road forming the entrance to Stone Hill
School for a distance of 37 metres in a westerly direction.
b) Unnamed Road on the south west side of Barnsley Road
forming a lay-by outside Ridgewood Comprehensive School
Scawsby
Western Leg - West Side
i) From its junction with the south western kerbline of
Barnsley Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly
direction.
c) Unnamed Access Road forming the entrance to Stone Hill
School, Scawsby
Both Sides
For a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.
Exceptions to the Order will permit waiting for the purpose of
picking up and setting down passengers, loading and
unloading goods, in connection with building industrial or
demolition operations, the removal of obstructions to traffic,
the maintenance of the roads and the services therein in
pursuance of statutory powers or duties, for the collection
and delivery of postal packets or if it is a vehicle being
operated by or on behalf of the South Yorkshire Safety
Camera Partnerships while carrying out roadside monitoring
or enforcement operations. The usual exceptions for disabled
persons vehicles are also included in the Order

Notice is hereby given that on the 22nd day of January 2025
the City of Doncaster Council made an Order under the
provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The effect of the Order that will come into operation on the
10th day of February 2025 will be to introduce a No waiting at
any time restriction on the following lengths of road:-
i) Amersall Road, Scawthorpe
West side
From its junction with the southern kerbline of Jossey Lane,
for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.

From a point 14 metres west of the western kerbline of
Amersall Road, for a distance of 33 metres in a generally
easterly direction.

From a point 12 metres west of the western kerbline of
Castle Hills Road, for a distance of 34 metres in a generally
easterly direction.

From its junction with the northern kerbline of Jossey Lane,
for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.

propose to make an Order under the provisions of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers
The effect of the order will be to:
(i) Introduce a 30 mph speed limit on the following roads:
CLAYTON
That length of Churchfield Road which extends from its
junction of Back Lane to a point 150 metres east of its
junction of Stotfold Road in a generally easterly direction
Clayton Lane which extends from its junction of Back Lane for
a distance of 121 metres in a generally westerly direction.
Back Lane from its junction of Clayton Lane for a distance of
100 metres in a generally north easterly direction.
(ii) Remove the existing 30mph speed limit on the
following road:
That length of Churchfield Road at Clayton which extends
from its junction with Back Lane to a point 87 metres west of
its junction with Stotfold Road

18th day of February 2025 will be to introduce a 40 mph
speed limit on Back Lane at Cusworth from a point 30 metres
west of its junction with Cusworth Lane for a distance of 437
metres in a generally westerly direction.
