Farnborough, Rushmoor - Temporary Road Closures for Farnborough Winter Half Marathon

Hampshire County Council Temporary Road Closure - Various Roads / Farnborough / Rushmoor / Farnborough Winter Half Marathon / 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Farnborough Winter Half Marathon to take place on the Sunday 9th February 2025. ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads:

1) A327 Elles Road (West-bound carriageway) between its junction with Pinehurst Road and its junction with Frank Whittle Roundabout.

2) Iveley Road between its junction with Frank Whittle Roundabout and its junction with Cody Park Roundabout.

3) Kennels Lane between its junction with Cody Park Roundabout, and its junction with Iveley Road Roundabout.

4) Iveley Road (West-bound carriageway) between its junction with Kennels Lane and its junction with Fleet Road.

5) Fleet Road (West-bound carriageway) between its junction with Iveley Road and its junction with Clubhouse Road.

6) A325 Farnborough Road (South-bound carriageway) between its junction with Alison's Road and its junction with Queen's Roundabout.

7) A325 Farnborough Road (on & off slip) between its junction with Alison's Road and its junction with A325 Farnborough Road.

8) Clubhouse Road & Alison's Road between its junction with A323 Fleet Road and its junction with Queen's Avenue.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:

1) Norris Hill Road, Velmead Road, B3013, Bourley Road, Wellesley Road, A325.

DURATION OF ORDER: on 9th February 2025 between the hours 07:00 - 13:00 for 1 day or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out. The Restrictions have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event for the Farnborough Winter Half Marathon. 2:09 Events Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the event is being carried out.
