What is happening?

LONGBECK ROAD LEVEL CROSSING, MARSKE
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER NO 1 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the length of road specified below.
The Order prohibits any vehicle from proceeding in the lengths of road specified in the schedule below. Access will be available to residents’ properties within the closure. Local diversions will be in operation.
The Order came into operation on 18.1.25 and remains in operation for 18 months, although it was envisaged that the works would be completed overnight between 23:00 hrs and 09:00hrs.
SCHEDULE
Longbeck Level Crossing Longbeck Road Marske-bythe- Sea from the railway crossing for a distance of 20 metres in either direction.
