What is happening?

THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

CALVERT LANE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:-

Calvert Lane, between numbers 96 and 110, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during gas mains replacement works.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will take effect on 15th February 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed daily between 8am and 5pm commencing 15th February 2025 until 23rd February 2025.

HIGH STREET

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along High Street, underneath A63 Roger Millward Way (Myton Swing Bridge), between the junctions with Blackfriargate and Liberty Lane, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during Public Realm scheme improvement works.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will come into effect 3rd February 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed daily between 7am and 5pm commencing 3rd February 2025 until 25th February 2025.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along Woodcock Street, at the junction of St Georges Road, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during gas mains replacement works.

The alternative route for pedestrians and vehicles will be signed.

The Order will come into effect 3rd February 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed daily between 8am and 5pm commencing on 3rd February 2025 until 21st February 2025.

THE AVENUE, SUTTON VILLAGE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along the full length of The Avenue, Sutton Village, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works to plane, resurface and reconstruct the existing carriageway and new soakaway to be installed with new pin kerbs and kerbs.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will come into effect 10th February 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will take place over a one-week period, between 10th February 2025 and 7th March 2025.

SUMMERGANGS ROAD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along full length of Summergangs Road, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during the installation of 2 raised tables (traffic calming). The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will come into effect 10th February 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed daily from 8am to 5pm commencing 10th February 2025 to 7th March 2025.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Boulevard from its junction with Hessle Road to its junction with Witty Street, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during carriageway reconstruction and resurfacing works.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will come into effect 10th February 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 10th February 2025 to 2nd March 2025.

CHAPEL LANE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along Chapel Lane, from the junction at Lowgate to the former Hull Lighting shop (approx. 54m). The one-way system from the former Hull Lighting Shop to High Street, will become a two way system for the duration of the closure.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works to provide a new electric supply for the former Hull lighting shop being redeveloped into flats on Chapel Lane.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will come into effect 3rd February 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 3rd February 2025 to 18th February 2025.
