HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA (“y Cyngor”) yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â’r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:

  1. 1.Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 2ail Chwefror 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw’n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw’r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau ar 2ail Chwefror 2025, gan weithredu rhwng 08:30 a 14:00.
  2. 2.Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn caniatáu Dŵr Cymru i wneud

gwaith mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Bydd mynediad rhesymol yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.

  1. 3.Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd:
    • Cau dros dro Stryd y Santes Fair, Trefynwy, Sir Fynwy, o’r gyffordd â Stryd Almshouse yn llwyr.
    • System unffordd i’w hatal yn gyfan gwbl ar Stryd Whitecross, Trefynwy, Sir Fynwy er mwyn caniatáu system ddwy ffordd dros dro i ganiatáu mynediad.
  1. 4.Bydd llwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn: A466 Stryd San Iago, A466 Sgwâr San Iago, A466 Stryd Whitecross ac i’r gwrthwyneb.
  2. 5.Gellir enwi’r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dro Stryd y Santes Fair a Stryd Whitecross, Sir Fynwy.
  3. 6.Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy’n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

(St Marys Street And Whitecross Street, Monmouth, Monmouthshire) Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Intends to make an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

  1. 1.The Order shall come into operation on the 2nd February 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 2nd February 2025 operating between 08:30 14:00.
  2. 2.The order is necessary for Dwr Cymru Welsh Water works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure along with Pedestrian Access.
  3. 3.The effect of the order will be:
    • To temporarily close St Marys Street, Monmouth, Monmouthshire, from its junction with Almshouse Street for its entirety..
    • One-way system to be suspended on Whitecross Street, Monmouth, Monmouthshire for its entirety to allow for a temporary two-way system to be in place to allow for access.
  1. 4.A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows:- A466 St James Street, A466 St James Square, A466 Whitecross Street and vice versa.
  2. 5.This order may be cited as the St Marys Street and Whitecross Street, Monmouth, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025.
  3. 6.By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
