Apers Avenue (D3705) Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Apers Avenue (D3705) Woking. There is no alternative route for this closure. This Order is required to carry out telegraph pole replacement works for, or on behalf of Road Traffic Management. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 9am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 21 February 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

Holly Bank Road (D3682) Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Holly Bank Road (D3682) Woking as extends from its junction with (D3680) Hook Heath Road and for a distance of 75 metres in a northerly direction along Holly Bank Road. Alternative Route: Hook Heath Road, Hook Heath Avenue, and Holly Bank Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate water connection works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 19 February 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Due to the nature of the works, there will be no access through the closure, and all traffic, including emergency services, will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Hook Hill Lane (D3681) Mayford
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Hook Hill Lane (D3681) Mayford as extends from its junction with (B380) Smarts Heath Road and (B380) Mayford Green to its junction with the property known as “Lisa”. Alternative Route: (B380) Smarts Heath Road, Saunders Lane, Hook Heath Road, and Hook Hill Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works for, or on behalf of SGN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 33 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 17 February 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time, under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
