What is happening?

Temporary Road Closures – Ball Hill Road & Woolton Hill Road, East Woodhay, Basingstoke

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED:

  1. Ball Hill Road between its junction with Knights Lane and its junction with Yew Tree Garden Centre.
  2. Woolton Hill Road between its junction with Ball Hill Road and a point approximately 200 Metres South of said junction.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Enborne Row, Station Road, Tile Barn Road, Woolton Hill Road, Church Road, Abbey Wells Road, Heath End Road

DURATION OF ORDER: From 4th February 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:30 – 15:30).

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to carry out joint box and gully sucking works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk

Sunbelt Rentals Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
