Gravesham, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices
What is happening?
Highways
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
GRAVESHAM AREA
Crutches Lane, Higham, ME2 3UH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Crutches Lane, Higham, on or after 27th January 2025 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed near Sedgemere.
The alternative route is via Crutches Lane, Old Watling Street, A2 Watling Street, B2108 Rede Court Road, A226 Gravesend Road and vice versa.
Gore Green Road, Higham, ME3 7HJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Gore Green Road, Higham, on or after 27th January 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Tumble Fields.
The alternative route is via Gore Green Road, Lower Rochester Road, B2000 Town Road, Lillechurch Road and vice versa.
Vale Road, Northfleet, DA11 8DL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Vale Road, Northfleet, on or after 10th February 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 121D.
The alternative route is via Vale Road, A226 Thames Way, B262 Springhead Road, Hall Road, Old Perry Street and vice versa.
Victoria Road, Northfleet, DA11 0JN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of highway improvement works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Victoria Road, Northfleet, on or after 27th January 2025 for up to 3 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Pelham Road South.
The alternative route is via Victoria Road, Pelham Road South, B261 Old Road West and vice versa.
Woodfield Avenue, Gravesend, DA12 1LH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a full footway reconstruction scheme, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Woodfield Avenue, Gravesend, on or after 27th January 2025 for up to 61 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed for the entire length.
The alternative route for any through traffic is:
Phase 1 - Woodfield Avenue, B261 Old Road West, A227 Wrotham, St Thomas Avenue - Vice Versa
Phase 2 - Cross Lane West, A227 Wrotham Road, St Thomas Avenue - Vice Versa
