What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Salford has made the SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (LOWER BROUGHTON ROAD, SALFORD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025 under Section 14(1)(a) and 15(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

The Order introduces:
No Waiting at Any Time on - Lower Broughton Road: southeast side, from the junction with Great Clowes Street in a south westerly direction for a distance of 60 metres.

The Order comes into operation on 27 January 2025. The Prohibition of Waiting by vehicles is necessary to enable works of surveying and monitoring to be undertaken on or near the road. The Council is satisfied that the works to which the Order relates will take longer than 18 months from the date that the Order takes effect. The Order is made without time-limit and will be revoked on completion of the works.
