What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council,

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Colburn Drive, Catterick Garrison, Order 2025, No. 9

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Colburn Drive, Catterick Garrison for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 20/01/25 & 25/01/25, due to BT civils works. However, the max duration of this Order is until 20/04/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Public Footpath 20.60/6/1 Skeeby, Order 2022 No 42

Notice is hereby given that the above Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any public access along Public Footpath 20.60/6/1 Skeeby, between grid reference NZ20300262 & NZ21060285 due to a damaged footbridge has been continued in force for a further 12 months until 23/01/26 or until the completion of the works (whichever is the earlier), under Section 15(3) of the above Act with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport. The further continuation of the closure will be put into effect by notices & signs. Notice is hereby given that the above Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any public access along Public Footpaths 10.8/3/1 in the Parish of Appleton Wiske & 10.66/1/1 in the Parish of Hornby between grid references NZ38930467 & NZ37520456 due to an unsafe bridge has been continued in force for a further 12 months until 24/01/26 or until the completion of the works (whichever is the earlier), under Section 15(3) of the above Act with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport. We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Langthorne Village, Langthorne for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 03/02/25 & 05/04/25, due to Yorkshire Water works to install a new public surface water sewer. However, the max duration of this Order is until 31/10/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. 30 Mph Speed Limit, C1, Stokesley to Tame Bridge, Stokesley, Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 mph on any length of road specified:— C1, Stokesley to Tame Bridge for a distance 100m West from the centre of the roundabout leading to Apple Tree Road for a distance of 100m in a Westerly direction.
