PUBLIC NOTICE

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

(CASTLECROFT ROAD) (TEMPORARY

PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Castlecroft Road in both directions
between its junctions with The Avenue and Bhylls Lane.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken on 19 January 2025 from 08:00 until 17:00.
The diversion route is: Bhylls Lane, Langley Road, Trysull Road, Broad Lane, Finchfield Road West and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate remedial reinstatement works by Severn Trent Water.
