Temporary Closing Of Footpath Hertford 82
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Hertford 82, heading south Hagsdell Road, for an approximate distance of 80m.
Alternative route: via Hagsdell Road and Mangrove Road The purpose of the Order is to enable utilities works to take place.
The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 18 January 2025 for
up to 2 days, when signs are in place.

(Temporary Closing And Temporary Waiting Restrictions
In Pye Corner, Gilston) Order 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Pye Corner, Gilston from its junction with Terlings Avenue north eastwards, northwards and north eastwards to its junction with Redricks Lane, a distance of approximately 1069m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Eastwick Road, A414 (Fifth Avenue/Edinburgh Way), A1184 (Cambridge Road/Harlow Road) and High Wych Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 February 2025 for a period of up to 18 months.
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of B1000 Hertford Road, Tewin from its easternmost junction with Panshanger Lane north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards from its westernmost junction with Hertford Road, a distance of approximately 736m.
An alternative route will be via B1000 (Hertford Road/Waterside), A1000 Mundells, B195 (Black Fan Road/Cole Green Lane/Birchall Lane), A414 (Cole Green Bypass/Hertingfordbury Road), A119 (Cross Lane/North Road) and B1000 (Welwyn Road/Hertford Road).
2. that length of Panshanger Lane, Cole Green from its easternmost junction with B1000 Hertford Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 109m.
An alternative route will be via B1000 Hertford Road and Pansanger Lane.
The Order is needed because tree cutting works are proposed to be
executed near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 February 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(Temporary Closing Of The Footbridge Situated Over
‘Fiddlers Brook’, Eastwick) Order 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the footbridge situated over ‘Fiddlers Brook’, Eastwick from its junction with Terlings Avenue north eastwards to its junction with Pye Corner, a distance of approximately 76m (“the Footbridge”).
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north side of Terlings Avenue, the footway situated on the east side of Eastwick Road and the footway situated on the south side of Pye Corner.
The Order is needed because footbridge remedial works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footbridge.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 February 2025 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Footbridge.

(Temporary Closing Of 3U185 (Unnamed Road), Hertford) Order 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of 3U185 (unnamed road), Hertford from its junction with Pipers End north eastwards for a distance of approximately 30m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Pipers End, Woolmer Lane, Chapel Lane and 3U185 (unnamed road).
The Order is needed because electrical connection works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 February 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A414 Eastwick Road, Stanstead Abbotts from its junction with the B181 Station Road/A1170 Ware Road roundabout south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 3621m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via A10 (Amwell Link Roadunnamed road)/ Wadesmill Bypass), A120 (Standon Hill/Kents Lane/Stortford Road/Standon Road/Little Hadham Bypass/ Hadham Road), A1184 (Bishops Park Way/ St James Way/London Road/Cambridge Road/ London Road/Bonks Hill/ Harlow Road/Cambridge Road) and A414 (Edinburgh Way/Fifth Avenue/ Eastwick Road).
The Order is needed because bridge and associated works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 February 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing Of Various Roads In Stanstead Abbotts And Stanstead St Margarets) Order 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of Hoddesdon Road, Stanstead Abbotts/Stanstead Road, Stanstead St Margarets from its junction with B181 Station Road south eastwards, south westwards and south westwards to its junction with St Margarets Road, a distance of approximately 805m. An alternative route will be via B181 Station Road, A1170 (Ware Road/ Amwell Street/Dinant Link Road), Burford Street and Stanstead Road.
2. that length of The Granary, Stanstead Abbotts from its junction with Hoddesdon Road south eastwards and north westwards or its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 February 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of Whempstead Lane, Dane End from its junction with Munden Road south westwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Whempstead Road, a distance of approximately 1429m. An alternative route will be via Munden Road, Sacombe Pound, A602 Tonwell Bypass and Whempstead Road.
2. that length of B1037 (unnamed road), Cottered from its junction with B1037 White Hill south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its easternmost junction with A507 Baldock Road, a distance of approximately 2561m. An alternative route will be via B1037 (White Hill/High Street/Stevenage Road/Fairlands Way), A1155 Verity Way, A1072 Martins Way, A602 Hitchin Road, B197 (Graveley Road/ High Street/Jacks Hill), A505 Baldock Bypass, B197 (London Road/High Street), B656 Whitehorse Street and A507 (Clothall Road/unnamed road/Baldock Road).
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 February 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Villiers Street, Hertford from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.24 Villiers Street north westwards for a distance of approximately 33m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A119 Ware Road, Railway Place and Railway Street.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 February 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Archers Green Lane, Tewin from its junction with B1000 Hertford Road north eastwards, north westwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Churchfield Road, a distance of approximately 1293m. An alternative route will be via B1000 Hertford Road and Churchfield Road.
2. that length of Churchfield Road, Tewin from its junction with B1000 Hertford Road north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with School Lane, a distance of approximately 1279m.
An alternative route will be via B1000 Hertford Road, Hertford Road, Harmer Green Lane, New Road, Harmer Green Lane, Orchard Road, Upper Green, Upper Green Road, Lower Green and School Lane.
3. that length of Hertford Road, Tewin from its junction with Lower Green south eastwards for a distance of approximately 268m.
An alternative route will be via Lower Green, School Lane, Churchfield Road, B1000 Hertford Road and Hertford Road.
4. that length of Station Hill/C16 (unnamed road), Westmill from its junction with A10 (unnamed road) north westwards to its junction with Station Road, a distance of approximately 400m.
An alternative route will be via A10 (unnamed road/Puckeridge Bypass), Mentley Lane West, C16 Great Munden Road, C16 Nasty and C16 (unnamed road).
5. that length of Upper Green, Tewin from its junction with Tewin Hill north westwards to its junction with Orchard Road, a distance of approximately 567m.
An alternative route will be via Upper Green Road, Lower Green, School Lane, Churchfield Road, B1000 Hertford Road, Hertford Road, Harmer Green Lane, New Road, Harmer Green and Orchard Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 January 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:
1. that length of Frensham, Cheshunt from its junction with Peakes Way south westwards, south eastwards and north eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. that length of Dickson, Cheshunt from its junction with Frensham south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 164m. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3. that length of Quincey Road, Ware from its junction with Wulfrath Way north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with A1170 Wadesmill Road, a distance of approximately 623m.
An alternative route will be via Wulfrath Way, B1001 Watton Road and A1170 (Baldock Street/Wadesmill Road).
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 January 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Green End, Dane End from its junction with 3U35 (unnamed road) north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Church Lane, a distance of approximately 713m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Green End, Green End Lane, Wheathampstead Lane, Munden Road and Church Lane.
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 21 January 2025 for a period of up to 18 months.
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
