Preston Bus Station Multi-Storey Car Park - Revocation And Off Street Parking Place

NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PRESTON BUS STATION MULTI STOREY CAR PARK, PRESTON, PRESTON CITY) (REVOCATION AND OFF STREET PARKING PLACE) ORDER 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 32, 33 and 35 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the "Lancashire County Council (Preston Bus Station Multi-Storey Car Park, Preston City) (Off Street Parking Place) Order 2016" in full.
2. Designate floors 1-6 of the Preston Bus Station multi-storey car park (situated to the east of Tithebarn Street, Preston) as an off street parking place for the purposes of Section 32 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
3. Introduce a tariff of permit parking charges as set out in schedule 1 to this notice for the use of this off street parking place.
4. Introduce a tariff of pay and display parking charges as set out in schedule 2 to this notice for the use of this off street parking place.
5. Introduce 37 disabled person's parking spaces (11 of which will be situated on level 1, 13 of which will be on level 2, and 13 of which will be on level 4) in this off street parking place. Disabled person's vehicles may park within these bays for a maximum of 3 hours, with no return within 8 hours. Where a disabled person's vehicle will be parked beyond this free 3 hour period, the driver must purchase a parking ticket to cover the additional duration of the stay and set their parking disk to the expiration time of their parking ticket.
6. Introduce 3 motorcycle only parking spaces which will be situated on level 1 in this off street parking place.
7. Introduce 6 electric vehicle charging spaces which will be situated on level 1 in this off street parking place.
8. Introduce 20 parent and child parking spaces (10 of which will be on level 2 and 10 of which will be on level 4) in this off street parking place.
9. Introduce a 2.03 metre height restriction in this off street parking place.

A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Preston City Council, PO Box 10, Town Hall, Lancaster Road, Preston, PR1 2RL and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/roads-parking-and-travel/roads/roadworks-and-traffic-regulation-orders/permanent.aspx.
