What is happening?

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(ALL SAINTS ROAD/VICARAGE ROAD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on the following stretches of road:
l All Saints Road closed in both directions at its junction with Vicarage Road.
l Vicarage Road closed in both directions at its junction with All Saints Road. Northbound Vehicular diversion route: Cartwright Street, Birmingham Road,
Grove Street, Dudley Road, Ring Road, Bilston Road, Hospital Street and Cleveland Road. Southbound Vehicular diversion route: Cleveland Road,
Hospital Street, Bilston Road, Ring Road, Birmingham Road and Cartwright Street.

The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 27 January 2025 until 30 January 2025.
The Order is required to facilitate a small meter renewal
and a small sluice valve repair by Severn Trent Water.
