What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
UNNAMED ROAD FROM THE STREET TO
A54, GOYT VALLEY BUXTON
WHEN: 06 February 2025 (08:00 to 22:00)
WHERE: Unnamed Road from The Street to
A54, Goyt Valley , Buxton, between its Jct. with
The Street and Goyts Lane, for a distance of
500m to Derbyshire Bridge.
REASON: To facilitate filming.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A54, Macclesfield Main
Road, Leek Road, St Johns Road, Park Road,
A5004 Manchester Road, Goyts Lane, and vice
versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever
reasonably possible, on the affected length of
road. The road will re-open as soon as the work
is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any
inconvenience caused while work takes place.

The County Council intends to make an Order
under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by
traffic.
