(STATION LANE, FEATHERSTONE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER (NO 20) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to allow annual level crossing test works to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Station Lane, Featherstone 20 metres either side of the railway line. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Station Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Station Lane, Green Lane, Common Side Lane, Wakefield Road and vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 21st January 2025 at 22:30 hours until 22nd January 2025 at 05:30 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.

ORDER (NO 23) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for a detailed bridge examination to be carried out as follows:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Station Road, Castleford. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Station Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: University Street, Lower Oxford Street, Middle Oxford Street, High Oxford Street, High Street, Albion Street, Carlton Street, Station Road & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 5th February 2025 at 22.00 hours to 6th February 2025 at 06.00 hours or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
