Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(U45617 Murcot Road, Childswickham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U45617 Murcot Road from its junction with C2007 Broadway Road for a distance of 100 metres in a Northerly direction.
Reason: Drainage/flood alleviation work by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
No access for emergency services, diversion route must be followed.
Alternative route: U45617 Murcot Road (part), U45617 Murcot Turn, A44 Evesham Road, B4632 Evesham Road, U45616 Pennylands Bank, C2007 Broadway Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs except weekends). Commencing: 10 February 2025.
(C2022 Main Street/U44209 Middle Lane, Cropthorne) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of Closure 1 - C2022 Main Street from its junction with U44211 Kennel Bank to its junction with Manor farm Court (NSG Ref 45405490) Closure 2 - U44209 Middle Lane from its junction with C2022 Main Street to its junction with U44210 Lower Croft
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2022 Main Street (part), C2022 Brook Lane, B4084 Main Road, U44208 Field Barn Lane, U44212 Blacksmiths Lane, C2022 Main Street (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 18 January 2025.
(C2010 Gooms Hill, Abbots Morton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of C2010 Gooms Hill from its junction with C2011 Radford Road to its junction with C2010 Alcester Road.
Reason: Kerbs renewal by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2011 Radford Road, C2011 Rous Lench Green, C2011 Low Road, C2011 Atch Lench Road, C2011 Leys Road, B4088 Alcester Road into Warwickshire, C2010 Alcester Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 20 January 2025.
(U44653 St Richards Road, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U44653 St Richards Road from its junction with C2275 Davies Road for a distance of 64 metres in a northerly direction and from is junction with C2275 Davies Road for a distance of 185 metres in an easterly direction.
Reason: Footway Reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U44653 St. Richards Road (part), C2275 Davies Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 nights (18:00-06:00). Commencing: 20 January 2025.
(U44411 Albert Road, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U44411 Albert Road from its junction with U44416 Albert Road to its junction with U44413 Avon Street.
Reason: Drainage and flood alleviation work by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U44413 Avon Street, U44410 Henry Street, U44411 Albert Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 10 February 2025.
(U44713 New Road, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U44713 New Road from its junction with U44712 Peewit Road to its junction with U44739 Lunns Gardens.
Reason: Remedial water works by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U44712 Peewit Road, B4084 Pershore Road, U44713 New Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (24hrs). Commencing: 11 February 2025.
(C2022 Mill Bank, Fladbury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2022 Mill Bank from its junction with U44213 Neigh Lane for a distance of 115 metres in a westerly direction.
Reason: Hydrant Renewal by Seven Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2022 Mill Bank (part), C2022 Station Road, A44 Evesham Road, A44 Worcester Road, B4624 Worcester Road, A4184 High Street, A4184 Abbey Road, B4084 Pershore Road, U44206 Boston Lane, U44206 Yessel Lane, U44206 Canada Bank, C2022 Neigh Lane to The Strand and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 4 February 2025.
(C2050 Bennetts Hill/C2050 Long Hyde Road, Offenham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: C2050 Bennetts Hill from its junction with B4510 Evesham Road to its junction with C2050 Long Hyde Road. Closure 2: C2050 Long Hyde Road from its junction with C2050 Bennetts Hill to its junction with B4085 Station Road.
Reason: Drainage/flood alleviation work by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4085 Station Road, B4085 Blackminster, C2047 Station Road, B4510 Evesham Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 10 February 2025.
(U47008 Holloway, Pershore) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U47008 Holloway from its junction with U47009 Holloway Drive to its junction with U47011 Allesborough Drive.
Reason: New customer connection by National Grid.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U47008 Holloway (part), A4104 Three Springs Road, B4084 Worcester Road, C2056 Besford Road, U47008 Holloway (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 10 February 2025.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath EK-521 Eckington & Footpath GC-506 Great Comberton) (Temporary Closure Order) 2025
Order made: To close EK-521 Eckington & Footpath GC-506 Great Comberton for the entire length. The Order has been made due to a dangerous bridge.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: No alternative route.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months continuing on from 30 December 2024.
