What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
B6049 BLACKWELL DALE,
PRIESTCLIFFE DITCH
WHEN: 20 January and 21 January 2025 (between 09:00 to 15:30 each day)
WHERE: B6049 Blackwell Dale, Priestcliffe Ditch for a distance of 1.5 km north from Jct. with A6.
REASON: To facilitate tree works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Blackwell Dale, B6049 Buxton Road, Manchester Road, Tideswell Moor, Hernstone Lane, A623 Higher Hallsteads, A6 Fairfield Road, Bakewell Road, and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
