A31 Magherafelt Bypass, Magherafelt
Notice is hereby given in compliance with paragraphs 1 and
2 of Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern
Ireland) Order 1997 that the Department for Infrastructure,
in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 7(1) and
(3) of the Road Traffic Regulation (NI) Order 1997, proposes
to introduce a temporary 40 miles per hour speed limit on:-
A31 Magherafelt Bypass, Magherafelt – from the start of A31
Magherafelt Bypass at junction with Moneymore Roundabout
for a distance of 630 metres in an easterly direction.
This prohibition will be in place from Monday 20 January
2025 to Friday 21 March 2025.
The Department for Infrastructure is satisfied that the above
temporary restrictions are necessary to facilitate works on
the carriageway.
Traffic signs warning that the use of the road is subject to
the above temporary restrictions, which indicate the nature
and extent of the restrictions, will be erected on the road in
due course.
