TO BLACKBROOK FARM JUNCTION FELTON
(TEMPORARY BYWAY OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by motor vehicles on a Byway Open to All Traffic namely the U6002 Eshottheugh Junction To Blackbrook Farm Junction Felton from Blackbrook Farm heading south for a length of 660 metres with the following exceptions in the County of Northumberland.
Equestrians
Businesses
Residents
Farm vehicles
Emergency Vehicles
The Order is to be effective from the 5th February 2025 until the 5th August 2025.
It is expected that the byway open to all traffic will only be closed from the 5th February 2025 until the 5th August 2025 and that it will be closed at all times during this period.
There is no alternative route available for motor vehicular traffic.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council due to the likelihood of danger to the public as sections which run alongside the river have been severely damaged by 4x4 vehicles and the land is starting to slip and give way.
