(TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by pedestrian traffic on the following sections of footway in Tweedmouth in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 20th January 2025 until the 21st April 2025 .
U112 Rowntree Avenue Footway from a point at the front of house number 16 heading westwards for a distance of 20 metres.
There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.
U112 Rowntree Avenue Footway from a point at the rear of house number 12 heading westwards and then southwards for a distance of 71 metres.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the U112 Rowntree Avenue Footway, Rowntree Avenue, Crosthwaite Terrace, U112 Crosswaithe Terrace Footway and vice-versa.
It is expected that the footways will only be closed from the 20th January 2025 until the 31st January 2025 and that the footways will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 21st April 2025.
U112 Crosswaithe Terrace Footway from a point at the front of house number 7 heading westwards and then southwards for a distance of 63 metres.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the U112 Crosswaithe Terrace Footway, Northumberland Road, Billendean Terrace, Askew Crescent, Crosthwaite Terrace and vice-versa.
U112 Crosswaithe Terrace Footway from a point at the front of house number 6 heading southwards for a distance of 40 metres.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the U112 Rowntree Avenue Footway, Crosthwaite Terrace and vice-versa.
It is expected that the footways will only be closed from the 22nd January 2025 until the 3rd February 2025, and that footways will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 21st April 2025.
Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes described within this Notice and where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
