C59 EASINGTON GRANGE JUNCTION
TO DETCHANT PARK JUNCTION BELFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C59 Easington Grange Junction To Detchant Park Junction Belford from its junction with the A1 heading eastwards for a distance of 485 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 11th February 2025 until the 21st February 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 11th February 2025 until the 17th February 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 21st February 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the A1, C60, C59 and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre to carry out mole ploughing for the installation of fibre cabling. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
