ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14(1)

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

TURVEY ROAD STAGSDEN 24-110

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along Turvey Road, Stagsden.

This temporary road closure is required to install drainage and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 09:00 to 15:30 hours from 10th February 2025 to 14th February 2025

The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Turvey Road, Northampton Road, Bromham Bypass, Bedford Road, Wick End, High Street, Church Lane The reverse route applies The proposed Order will come into operation on 10th February 2025, for a period of 12 months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

CHURCH LANE, OAKLEY 24-114

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along Church Lane, Oakley bridge.

This temporary road closure is required to facilitate bridge refurbishment and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 21:00 to 21:00 hours from 14th February 2025 to 16th February 2025

The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Oakley Road, Park Road, Court Lane, West End, Pavenham Road, High Street, East End, Bedford Road, Westfield Road, Church Lane The reverse route applies The proposed Order will come into operation on 14th February 2025, for a period of 12 months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along Lorraine Road, Wootton from Cause End Road to Cannons Close, including the belmouths of Studeley Road and Dimmock Road.

This temporary road closure is required to facilitate carriageway re surfacing and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 08:00 to 18:00 hours from 10th February 2025 to 20th February 2025

The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Cause End Road, Lorraine Road The reverse route applies The proposed Order will come into operation on 10th February 2025, for a period of 12 months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

BEDFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL

(BOLNHURST AND KEYSOE BRIDLEWAY NO 29)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the order made by Bedford Borough Council on 12th July 2024 the effect of which will be to prohibit any person proceeding on foot or on horseback or lead a horse or cycle along the length of Bridleway No 29 Bolnhurst and Keysoe which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) TL 0877 5834 (Map point A) to OS GR TL 0829 5758 (Map point B) has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 17th July 2025.

This closure is required due to an out of repair bridleway bridge. The closure will continue from Saturday 18th January 2025 for up to six months.

The alternative route for users while the closure is in operation will be to proceed from OS GR TL 0877 5834 Map point A in a north westerly direction to OS GR TL 0877 5838 Map point D. Proceed in a south westerly direction to the junction with bridleway 91 Map point C and continue in a southerly direction to the junction with Map point B and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 18th January 2025 for a period not exceeding six months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out on or near to the bridleway has been completed, whichever is the earlier. If the works are not completed within six months the Order may be extended for a longer period with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport.
