What is happening?
Borough Of Rochdale
(Woodhouse Lane, Rochdale)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles Order)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting At Any Time Order) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Woodhouse Lane from a point 10 metres north west of its junction with Ellis Fold for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Woodhouse Lane from a point 10 metres north west of its junction with Ellis Fold for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the replacement of a BT pole in the highway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 30th January 2025 until 17:00 on the 30th January 2025.
There is no alternative route for vehicles.
(Queensway, Rochdale)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Cycling) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit cyclist traffic from proceeding along Queensway from its junction with Gorrels Way in an easterly direction for a distance of 58 metres in so far as cycling in a westerly direction will not be affected.
The Order is required to facilitate ENW planned work within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 3rd February 2025 until 23:59 on the 7th February 2025.
The alternative route for cyclist vehicles will be via Queensway.
(Pagan Street, Rochdale)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Pagan Street from its junction with John Street for a distance of 3 metres in an easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the resetting of a waste water cover within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 19:00 hours to 22:00 hours on the 3rd February 2025.
There is no alternative route for vehicles.
(James Street, Littleborough And Arm Road)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles And Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting At Any Time Order And Temporary Suspension Of One-Way Working Order) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along James Street from its junction with Arm Road for a distance of 91 metres in a north easterly direction.
(ii) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time along James Street from its junction with Arm Road for a distance of 91 metres in a north easterly direction.
(iii) Temporarily suspend The Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council (Arm Road, Dearnley, Littleborough) (One Way Working) Order 2001
SCHEDULE 1
One Way Working on:-
Arm Road – from its junction with Arm Road to its junction with James Street, a distance of 18 metres in a north-westerly direction. The Order is required to facilitate the installation of a new electrical service connection within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 09:30 hours until 15:00 hours daily from the 20th January 2025 until the 23rd January 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via James Street, Finance Street, New Road, Arm Road & vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
(Oak Hill, Littleborough)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles And Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting At Any Time Order) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Oak Hill from its junction with Laburnum Way for a distance of 17 metres in a southerly direction.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Oak Hill from its junction with Laburnum Way for a distance of 17 metres in a southerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe installation of a new electrical service connection within the carriageway and footway.
The Order will be operative from 00:00 on the 16th January 2025 until 23:59 on the 22nd January 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Laburnum Way, Starring Way, Oak Hill & vice versa.
(William Street, Littleborough)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles And Temporary Suspension Of One-Way Traffic Order) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along William Street from its junction with Butterworth Street for a distance of 50 metres in an easterly direction.
(ii) Suspend The Borough Of Rochdale (William Street, Littleborough) (One Way Working) Order 2006 in such that any vehicle will be permitted to travel along William Street from its junction with Butterworth Street for a distance of 50 metres in an easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of new electrical services within the carriageway and footway.
The Order will be operative from 00:00 on the 17th January 2025 until 23:59 on the 30th January 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Butterworth Street, Featherstall Road, Stubley Mill Road & vice versa.
