CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(NORTHALL ROAD, EATON BRAY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends

not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Northall Road, Eaton Bray outside the pumping station and number 43.

This temporary closure is required to enable rising main replacement work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 3 to 23 February 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via B440, High Street, Moor End, High Street and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 3 February 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

WEST STREET AND ASHTON SQUARE, DUNSTABLE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

West Street between Icknield Street to junction with A505

Ashton Square outside Ashton Square Taxi Rank

This temporary closure is required to enable tree works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place on the following dates:

West Street between 3 to 11 February 2025 between the hours of 9:00am and 3:30pm

Ashton Square between 10 to 11 February 2025 between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm

High Street South Service Road between 11 to 28 February 2025 between the hours of 9:00am and 3:30pm

High Street South between 17 to 19 February 2025 between the hours of 9:00am and 3:30pm

The alternative routes for this closure are:

High Street South – B4540, B4541, West Street, High Street South West Street – Dunstable Road, Castle Hill Road, A505

Ashton Square – High Street South

High Street South Service Road – High Street South

The Order will come into operation on 3 February 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from stopping or waiting along the following lengths of High Street South, High Street South Service Road, West Street and Ashton Square, Dunstable:

High Street South Service Road the entire length of service road

High Street South between Friars Walk to Viceroy Court

High Street South between Dunstable United Services Club to Staines Square West Street between Icknield Street to junction with A505

Ashton Square outside Ashton Square Taxi Rank

This temporary no stopping or waiting is required to safely facilitate tree works and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that no stopping or waiting will be in force on the following dates: West Street between 3 to 11 February 2025 between the hours of 09:00am and 03:30pm

Ashton Square between 10 to 11 February 2025 between the hours of 08:00am and 06:00pm

High Street South Service Road between 11 to 28 February 2025 between the hours of 09:00am and 03:30pm

High Street South between 17 to 19 February 2025 between the hours of 09:00am and 03:30pm

The order will be in operation at all times during this period.

Any vehicles found to be in contravention of this order will be removed from the public highway and stored until the registered owner arranges collection.
