Chilton Polden Hill, Temporary Road Closure Due To Cabinet Extension Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Stawell and Chilton Polden Temporary Closure of Chilton Polden Hill
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Chilton Polden Hill - from the junction with Priory Road to the junction with Tower Road. A total distance of 92 metres. This Order will enable Dunmore SW to carry out cabinet extension works on behalf of Openreach.
The Order becomes effective on 14th January 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 20th January 2025 and last until 23rd January 2025 between the hours of 08:00 -18:00 for a total of 4 days.
