SUSSEX ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
- Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate new electrical service connection works on behalf of UKPN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Sussex Road.
- Whilst the said works are taking place Sussex Road will be closed eastbound opposite Nos. 9 to 15 Sussex Road.
- Whilst the closure is in place the diversion route for traffic will be via Moreton Road, Croham Road, Selsdon Road, and Sussex Road, as appropriately signed.
- The Order will come into operation on 27 January 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 05 February 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
- These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

PENSHURST ROAD, THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
- Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms blockage clearance works on behalf of Virgin Media, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Penshurst Road, Thornton Heath.
- Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be temporarily restricted outside Nos. 84 to 88 Penshurst Road and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time."
- The Order will come into operation on 28 January 2025, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
- The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
- These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
a) any vehicle involved in the said works.
b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

MOFFAT ROAD, THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
- Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate sewer repairs on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to introduce traffic and parking restrictions in Moffat Road.
- Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Moffat Road will be closed between its junction with Westbrook Road and the common boundary of Nos. 165 and 165a Moffat Road.
b) Waiting and loading restrictions prohibiting parking and loading operating "at any time" will be introduced on the north-west (odd-numbered side) of Moffat Road between the common boundaries of Nos. 149 and 151 and Nos. 163 and 165 Moffat Road, and on the south-east (even-numbered side) between the common boundaries of Nos. 168 and 178 and Nos. 176 and 178 Moffat Road.
- The Order will come into operation on 24 January 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced if further work is required.
- During the closure the diversion route for traffic will be via Moffat Road, Layard Road, Livingstone Road and vice versa.
- These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
b) any vehicle carrying out the said work.
c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

VARIOUS LOCATIONS
- Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install electric vehicle parking bays and charging points they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in the roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice.
- Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in the sections of road listed in column 2 of the Schedule to this Notice.
- The Order will come into operation on the 29 January 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 28 February 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
- These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
a) A vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.- The general effect of the Orders would be to:
a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of:
- No. 49 Aurelia Road, Croydon
- No. 86 Beauchamp Road, Upper Norwood
- No. 38 Blenheim Park Road, South Croydon
- No. 221 Dunsfold Way, New Addington
- No. 178 Green Lane, Norbury
- No. 18 Hambrook Road, South Norwood
- No. 124 Livingstone Road, Thornton Heath
- No. 399 London Road, Croydon
- No. 18 Norbury Court Road, Norbury
- A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at Access Croydon, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA (Alternatively all related documents or further information can be requested by email to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk).
- Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Parking Design Section, 3rd Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA or by emailing the Parking Design Team (email address above) quoting the reference: PD/CH/K46 & K47 by 30 January 2025.
