What is happening?

(Felpham: Public Footpath 3796_1) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Public Footpath 3796_1 in Felpham, from its junction with Brigham Place to its junction with Sea Drive.
The closure of this route is needed to allow gas mains to be replaced in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 27 January 2025 and remain in force until 28 February 2025. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 6 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for pedestrians will be indicated on site.

(Selsey: Park Lane & Manor Lane) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close:
(I) Park Lane, between B2145 Chichester Road and Manor Lane; and
(II) Manor Lane, between Park Lane and Drift Road The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst gas mains replacement works are undertaken.
The Order came into effect on 13 January 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated works will commence on 13 January 2025 and will take 5 weeks to complete.

(Bognor Regis: Stroud Green Drive) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Stroud Green Drive in Bognor Regis from its junction with Chalcraft Lane, southwards for 85M.
The road closure is needed to allow gas mains to be replaced in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 13 January 2025 and remain in force until 31 January 2025. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Bognor Regis: Little High Street, Norfolk Street and York Road) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Little High Street, Norfolk Street and York Road in Bognor Regis throughout their entire lengths.
The road closure is needed to allow telecommunications cables to be installed in safety.
The restrictions will operate between 0800 hours and 2000 hours during the operative period of the Order. The Order will come into effect on 14 January 2025 and remain in force until 29 January 2025. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Chichester: Westgate, Orchard Street & Avenue De Chartres) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close:
(I) Westgate roundabout junction; and 
(II) Avenue de Chartres from Via Ravenna to Westgate roundabout junction; and
(III) Orchard Street from Joy Lane to Westgate roundabout junction; and
(IV) Westgate from Parklands Road to Westgate roundabout junction; and
The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst construction, resurfacing and relining works are undertaken in connection with the new Westgate roundabout junction. This Order will come into effect on 13 January 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. Access will be maintained for residents. The works on the roundabout junction will be undertaken between 2000 hours and 0600 hours
and it is anticipated they will be completed by 28 February 2025.
Westgate will then be closed to allows the entire block paved carriageway to be lifted repaired and relaid. These works should be completed by 14 April 2025.
