TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 247
PALMERSTON WAY AND BRADMEAD
The London Borough of Wandsworth hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to authorise the stopping up of the highway described in the First Schedule.
IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping-up will be authorised to enable the development described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 by the London Borough of Wandsworth on 8 March 2021 under local planning authority reference 2020/2837.
COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED FREE OF CHARGE
between 09:00 and 17:00 during a period of 28 days commencing on Thursday 9 January 2025 at Wandsworth Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London SW18 2PU.
Copies of the draft order and stopping up plan are also available to view at Battersea Park Library, 309 Battersea Park Road, SW11 4NF during the library’s opening hours.

ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed Order by writing to the Director of Environment and Community Services, London Borough of Wandsworth, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, SW18 2PU quoting reference 2020/2837. Any objection must be received by Thursday 6 February 2025. In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.

THE FIRST SCHEDULE
Areas of Highway to be Stopped Up
- Land on the southern side of Bradmead hatched black and labelled A-B on the attached plan No. 4523 which is approximately two square metres measuring 2m in a direction west to east and 1m in a direction north to south.
- Land on the southern side of Bradmead hatched black and labelled C on the attached plan No. 4523 which is approximately 0.062 square metres.
- Land on the southern side of Bradmead hatched black and labelled D on the attached plan No. 4523 which is approximately 0.079 square metres.
- Land on the northern side of Palmerston Way hatched black and labelled E-F on the attached plan No. 4523 which measures 20m in a direction west to east and 2.4m in a direction south to north at its widest point.

The Location
Palmerston Way and Bradmead, Battersea, SW8 4AG
The Development
Demolition of all existing buildings and construction of 4 buildings ranging from double basement and ground plus up to 12 storeys to ground plus up to 20 storeys, comprising student accommodation and associated amenity areas (Sui-generis); office and enterprise business accommodation (Use Class B1); retail / café unit (Use Class A1); drinking establishment (Use Class A4) and other ancillary uses; public realm improvements; hard and soft landscaping works; plant equipment; servicing facilities including cycle parking and other associated works. An Environmental Statement has been submitted with the application under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 (as amended).

SCHOOL KEEP CLEAR MARKINGS AND MINOR PARKING CHANGES
VARIOUS STREETS IN THE BOROUGH
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Orders under section 6 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
- Wandsworth (Clapham Junction) (Parking Places) (No. ) Order 202
- The Wandsworth (Prohibition of Stopping Outside Schools) (No. ) Order 202
- The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. ) Order 202
The general effects of the Orders are detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.
Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made.
Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection to the Director of Environment and Community Services at the address below (quoting reference W/ECS/TMO2078) within 21 days of the date of this Notice.

Lockington Road
To amend the hours of the school keep clear marking outside St Mary’s Roman Catholic Primary School so that they operate on Mondays to Fridays between 7.15 and 9.45am and between 3 and 5pm.
Swaffield Road
To amend the hours of the school keep clear marking outside Swaffield Primary School so that they operate on Mondays to Fridays between 7.45 and 9.45am and between 3 and 4.30pm.
Meteor Street
Proposed “School Keep Clear” markings in front of Belleville Primary School playground to replace 25m of existing parking bays (5 spaces). The school keep clear marking will operate on Mondays to Fridays between 8.15 and 9.45am and between 3 and 4.30pm.
Ravenstone Street
Proposed “School Keep Clear” markings in front of Ravenstone Primary School operating on Mondays to Fridays between 8.15 and 9.45am and between 3 and 4.30pm.
Spalding Road
Proposed “School Keep Clear” markings in front of Graveney School operating on Mondays to Fridays between 8.15 and 9.45am and between 3 and 4.30pm.
Battersea High Street
To amend the hours of the school keep clear marking outside Thomas’s School so that they operate on Mondays to Fridays between 7.45 and 9.45am and between 3 and 5.30pm.
Aton Road
Proposed double yellow lines on Aton Road, 5m opposite Heathmere Primary School and 4m between the zebra crossing and the school keep clear markings.
WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE – CORUNNA TERRACE SW8
- NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Corunna Terrace to facilitate a Crane Operation.
- Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Corunna Terrace from the junction with Stewarts Road to the junction with Linford Street. There will be no waiting 08:00 - 18:00.
- Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.
- Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.
- The order will come into operation on 26 January 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 26 January 2025.
