What is happening?

BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 14(2)
(SHEEPCOTE STREET, LADYWOOD – 17054497)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH FOOTWAY & TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prevent any pedestrian or vehicle from proceeding along Sheepcote Street adjacent to Tower 1, Bank.

The temporary Order is required to enable Footway and Carriageway Works.

An alternative route for pedestrians and vehicles affected by this Order will be signed on site.

Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.

These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The Order will come into operation on Monday 13th January 2025 and will remain in force for a period of 6 weeks or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
