(Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles) Order 2025
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Downsway, Paulton from a point outside property number 4 extending south to a point outside property number 6. USRN: 47902444.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable National Grid to carry out electricity sub-station replacement works on the 13th January 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months.
The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for EIGHT DAYS.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Downsway (remainder) – B3355 Hallatrow Road – Farrington Road – Downsway – vice versa.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Rugmoor Lane, Chew Stoke from apoint approximately 450 metres south of Rugmore Farm. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bristol Water to replace a stop tap on the 28th January 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months.
The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.
Works are anticipated to be for TWO DAYS.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bristol Water to install a new water connection on the 25th January 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bristol Water to excavate and remove approximately 116 meters of water main in the footway/carriageway and lay new main on the 30th January 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months.
