Broad Street - Temporary Road Closure For Essential Works
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford has made under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

(Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025
The Order will close the -
Eastbound carriageway of A6 Broad Street: at the junction of the exit slip road leading onto Pendleton Roundabout.
Westbound carriageway of A6 Broad Street: at the junction of the exit slip road leading onto Pendleton Roundabout.
The Order is necessary for essential works to be done.
Diversion routes will be via-
- The exit slip road on the eastbound carriageway leading over Pendleton Roundabout towards the 2nd exit onto the on slip road leading back on A6 Broad Street.
- The exit slip road on the westbound carriageway leading over Pendleton Roundabout towards the 2nd exit onto the on slip road leading back on A6 Broad Street.
A copy of the Order and plan of the area may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
