What is happening?

WESTMORLAND AND FURNESS COUNCIL (LOW FELLSIDE, KENDAL) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of Low Fellside, Kendal adjacent to a property know as No 3 Low Fellside, extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 10 metres.

There is no suitable alternative route available for vehicles. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation on 28th January 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 1 day, during the hours of 0800 and 1700 and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
